CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS SHOPPE: Created for children to help children!

Each year, on the second Saturday of December, children between the ages of 3 and 12 can purchase gifts for $3.00 with the help of an "elf" and have them wrapped for a surprise on Christmas morning. There are gifts for moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, teachers, and even the family pet.

Children in all walks of life benefit from your donations. The donations we receive are used to purchase the gifts that we sell at the Christmas Shoppe. The proceeds from the shoppe are used to benefit many local children's charities, including:

Children's Museum of Virginia

Edmarc Hospice for Children

Help and Emergency Response [HER] Shelter for Domestic Violence

The Children's Ward at the Naval Medical Center

Oasis Social Ministry

Portsmouth Area Resources Coalition (PARC)

Portsmouth Public Library

Portsmouth Police Department and Safety Town

The Child Nutrition Program at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia

Wesley Community Service Center, Inc.

The Christmas Shoppe is open between the hours of 10:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 and from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 with no age restrictions. (There is no gift-wrapping on Sunday.)  Please join us!
