Mission Trip in Action
If you are interested in the work of the Boys Home of Virginia and would like to join us on our next mission trip please talk to Paul Radford or let our church office know and we will have him give you a call. It's hard work, but so rewarding!
2016 Christmas Shoppe a huge sucess!

Boy in hat (2)

Thank you to everyone that helped with the Christmas Shoppe to make it a success. We have a lot of help from outside the church from friends of Trinity.   Carol-Anne for the delicious cookies and snack mix and also helping to feed the workers on Saturday.  The Brotherhood, the wrapper and elves.  A special thank you to Joe, Cindy and Shane Meyers for spending three days at Trinity to help set up, crowd manage, sell and take money.  Joan Drain, Kim Peacock and Tiffany Jarvis who set up the Christmas Shoppe and kept the tables filled on Saturday and Sunday.  Maggie Radford, Trixie Holcomb, Dottie Lindley, Glinda Powell for setting up the Parents Shoppe.  Keir Ballenger for getting the kids in the shop and Dave Ballenger for our music.    Adriana and Andrea for helping on Sunday.  Brian, Tiffany, Brooks and Kate Jarvis for tearing everything down and boxing it up.  Kyle Peacock, Shane Meyers and Antwain Franklin hauled everything to the church for us from Storage.  But most of all a big THANK YOU to Larry Peacock for boxing all items all year long, hauling them to the storage shed, bringing them to the church then hauling the left overs back to storage.  He also delivered two boxes to EDMARC and three boxes to PARC.    Thank you Martha Frances for the loan of the tables and working on Satruday.   We also donated two boxes of gifts to our neighbors behind us and four boxes to a family that takes gifts to children that live in local hotels.

We had approximately 203 kids on Saturday and a big crowd on Sunday.  Our gross sales were around $10000.

The Backpack Ministry

We're making a difference in children's lives, one meal at a time. This exciting ministry only takes an hour, once a month and yet it secures weekend meals for 50 children! Do you want to find out more? Contact Fran Gill or the church office at 393-0431.
