Trinity is closely allied with the City of Portsmouth, the Olde Towne neighborhood, and area churches; our members work with Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless and we continue to provide dinner and overnight accommodations for the homeless during the winter.

Through the Mission and Outreach Committee, we give financial support to the national Church, the Diocese of Southern Virginia, in addition to state-wide and municipal social agencies.

Shelter for the Homeless

Trinity works with Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless (PVH) a program that serves the single adults in our community living in homelessness.  Local churches work with PVH, offering a warm safe place to sleep and a nutritious dinner during the winter months.  Trinity will shelter this year for the week of March 8 - 14.  If you would like to find out more about this outreach, or would like to join the team contact Malcolm Fortson or call the administrative office at 393-0431 and let us know.
