What We are Doing
About Us
Join us at First Presbyterian Church Thursday evening, 6:30 PM, May 14 to fill food bags with food for children to take home for healthy meals over the weekend during the school year.

Trinity is closely allied with the City of Portsmouth, the Olde Towne neighborhood, and area churches; our members work with Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless and we continue to provide dinner and overnight accommodations for the homeless during the winter.

Through the Mission and Outreach Committee, we give financial support to the national Church, the Diocese of Southern Virginia, in addition to state-wide and municipal social agencies.

Oasis Breakfast Ministry

Join us Wednesday, July 1 at 6:00 AM at Oasis Social Ministry and receive the blessing of feeding the hungry.  Start your day in this ministry and you will walk away blessed.  Contact Dottie at dslindleyva@gmail.com and enrich your life!

Stop Hunger Now!  Gracie Peacock, Patty King, Fran and Richard Gill, Pat Roulhac and Linda Torres our parish administrator joined Monumental United Methodist Church Saturday, April 25 for this very worthy effort. Ten thousand food bags were filled in just over an hour and each bag will feed six people!  Now that makes a difference.

Last year our project was part of a US food drop in Afghanistan that fed refugees. Be sure to sign up at the next event, or contact Gracie Peacock for how you can help make and impact in our community.

The Children's Christmas Shoppe

Your donations assist us in buying gifts to sell at our annual Christmas Shoppe for kids 3-12 years old.  Our program of Children Helping Cildren allows us to make donations to organizations such as: Portsmouth Area Resource Coalition (P.A.R.C) and Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless, Playground equimpment for Churchland Pre-School, The Backpack Ministry through the Foodbank of SE VA at Tyler Elementary and the Children's Museum of Portsmouth.
